Andreas Suchanek has over 24 years of financial and over 15 years entrepreneurial and executive management experience. Prior to founding and managing Ascapex since 2010 and the ELISOgroup (now arivis AG) since 2011, Mr. Suchanek was co-founder and Managing Director of EXTEDO, a worldwide operating software company in the field of Life Sciences. Following the spin-off from its parent company IABG mbH, he managed the transition to a global software solution company. He was instrumental in creating and leading the sales, business development and financial strategies that resulted in the company’s commercial success.
Prior to EXTEDO, Andreas served as Vice President Sales and Managing Director at two venture capital backed software companies in the area of enterprise application integration.
Before his engagement in the software business, Mr. Suchanek worked in the banking and financial environment. He was the deputy Investment Director and Analyst at the MWB Wertpapierhandelsbank and prior to that, succeeded in establishing a new corporate investment department for a cooperative bank.
Andreas Suchanek holds a degree in Business Administration (Finance) and is also researcher at the University of Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology (UMIT) in Hall, Austria, and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences (FOM) in Munich, Germany.
Offer Dattner is an international marketing and sales manager with more than 30 years of working experience in the IT and service sector. In 2007, he specialized as sales professional completely on IT solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnical industry. Working for EXTEDO GmbH, a worldwide operating software company in the field of Life Sciences, he held the positions of a sales executive Southern Europe and sales director USA. Thus, he gained important knowledge about the regulations and requirements in the field of Life Sciences which is of high value for the arivis AG. Besides Andreas Suchanek, CEO and founder of the ELISOgroup AG (now arivis AG), Offer Dattner, the company’s COO, is responsible for the domains of operations as well as marketing & sales.
Mr. Dattner started his career as a software engineer at Hewlett-Packard where he later held the position product manager. After working at Axxam GmbH (Apple distribution company, spin-off of the Computer 2000 AG), he held several positions at the IT distribution company Merisel where he most recently was marketing & sales manager as well as member of the management board. Being business manager at Xerox GmbH, he was responsible for sales Major Accounts/ SMB.
Dirk Karsten Beth is the founder and Managing Director of arivis Inc. (former Mission3 Inc.). His background in leading successful life science software projects helped create success for companies such as GSK, Guidant (now Boston Scientific) and Beckman Coulter. Today, arivis Inc. is helping customers realize program delivery through innovative web-based Software as a Service.
Before founding arivis Inc. (former Mission3 Inc.) Mr. Beth held the position of Principal Consultant and Solution Architect at Arbortext (now PTC), the leader in Dynamic Enterprise Publishing. Dirk designed and implemented applications for several fortune 1000 companies including SAP, Schlumberger, HP, and Lockheed Martin.
Dirk Beth architected and implemented some exciting new technology solutions while at Arbortext - building the first fully automated SVG based pharmaceutical labeling application which formatted approved labeling content with graphical symbols to create a print ready file without human intervention ensuring SPL content flowed through regulatory to product without errors.
Prior to Arbortext, he was a Principal at SeraNova where he implemented globally deployed Internet Security applications for American Express and 3Com.
Dirk Beth was selected as one of Arizona’s leading innovators in 2008 35 Entrepreneurs Under 35. Dirk is often found speaking at industry trade events and featured in a variety of industry trade publications. He received his Bachelors from the University of Michigan.
Thorsten Dunker studied business administration with a focus on business information systems. In 1992, he was the joint founder of a mid-sized company consulting firm, which implements IT projects in the savings bank sector. At present, every fourth East German savings bank is a customer of this company consulting firm.
In 2001, he joined BioMedion as a managing partner. Since that time, Mr. Dunker has been responsible in the company management for the fields of product management, consultation, and sales. Thorsten Dunker has implemented a large number of projects in the fields of document control, training management, and raw-data archiving. In addition, he presents lectures on these topics, e.g., for the Biotechnologieverbund Berlin-Brandenburg, the "German Society for Good Research Practice" (D.G.G.F. e.V.), Concept Heidelberg and other providers. Thorsten Dunker has many years of expertise in the fields of computer system validation and IT compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
Christian Götze looks back on more than 20 years of professional experience in the fields of software development, software project management and business management. Mr. Götze completed his studies with a degree in mathematics. During his entire studies, he already worked professionally in the field of computer networking and software development. From 1995 onwards, he and several partners established the Netz-Werker AG, a system house which was specialized on highly available systems for medium-sized companies.
As from 1997, Mr. Götze was employed as scientific assistant and project manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics, Rostock. Due to his work at the Fraunhofer Institute, he was able to gain essential and wide knowledge in the field of software development – from specific modeling techniques over to the development of complicated algorithms up to the management of complex software projects. During this time, he developed basic concepts and software implementations in order to work with extremely large image data.
In 2004, Christian Götze founded the Multiple Image Tools GmbH, later arivis GmbH, which is a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Corporation. Holding the position of the company’s CTO, he managed both the development of the software products as well as the software development projects executed by arivis. At the same time he was responsible for business operations.
Andrea Obermeyer is an experienced product manager, project manager and software developer in the field of Life Sciences with the depth, breadth and experience the high requirements concerning quality and compliance besides the perfect functionality of the regulated software.
Mrs. Obermeyer started her career as a software engineer at Airbus Defense and Space. Before she joined arivis, Andrea Obermeyer held different positions at EXTEDO GmbH (a globally acting software and service solutions provider in the field of Regulatory Information Management) where she most recently was Head of Development. She acquired intensive knowledge while working for several software development and implementation projects as well as during pre- and post-sales activities with the focus on regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance.
Holding the position of Vice President Business Clinical Regulatory EU at arivis AG, Andrea Obermeyer is responsible for all technical departments (product management, development, test and support), especially for the design/definition and development of the software products.
Andrea Obermeyer has a degree in business informatics which she studied at the Hochschule für Oekonomie und Management (University of Applied Sciences) „FOM“ in Munich. She also has received an MBA in the field of IT management. She is equipped with an excellent knowledge about many software systems, applications, databases, programming languages and project management skills.
