Workshop with Acquifer

Workshop: Making Life Easier in High Content Screening Applications

Date: October 24-27, 2017

Venue: Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, Tübingen

acquifer workshop max planck institute with arivis

High content screening is increasingly deployed in biomedical and pharmaceutical research for the large scale phenotypic analysis of biological specimens. The increased usage has led to many solutions for various assay needs and also often to complex setups, limiting use to expert staff. To address this issue, Acquifer has developed a novel and easy-to-use high content screening platform that provides comprehensive solutions covering most screening pipelines.

In this workshop, Imaging Machine, an automated microscope ideal for imaging non-adherent, motion sensitive or large specimens will be presented. In addition, we will show how problems rising from data intensive biomedical research projects can be handled with appropriate hardware and software. In our Hands-on Sessions experts from Acquifer and arivis will guide you from image acquisition to data processing in the easiest way.
