The opportunity to manufacture components via additive printing methods opens up entirely new fields of applications. Complex internal geometries are possible which significantly can change the mechanical properties of the components. Using additive manufacturing it becomes possible to produce drills with internal spiral cooling channels or extremely lightweight turbine blades through built-in lightweight structures.

This latest update of arivis Vision4D contains completely new developments like arivis Batch Analysis, it provides further functional improvements and performance enhancements in arivis 3D/4D rendering and in many ways we have improved the ease-of-use when working with palettes and tools, for instance when modifying color mappings. In February the 13th Annual Advanced Imaging Methods Workshop was held at MIC @ UC Berkeley featuring 50 fantastic speakers. The 3-day workshop on new and evolving microscopy techniques was well-attended by over 200 participants from as far away as Brazil and Australia.
