Example Neurobiology
The initial ideas of the arivis Browser were developed together with the Leibniz Institut für Neurobiologie in Magdeburg. There, confocal laser scan microscopes were to be applied to get very high resolution images of living neurons. With the arivis Browser it was possible for the first time, to visualize smallest structures within a complete neuron in an image. So, the above animation shows a take of a time series, documenting the movements of dentritical spines. The total image of the neutron was set up with the arivis Browser. After an alignment of the single images, this small pane was exported from the image stack.
With the aid of the Look-up-tables (LUT), integrated into the arivis Browser, it is quite easily possible to get very complex changes in the visualization of the image data in terms of color. These changes can be used in the following by other visualization or analysis modules. Thus, a limitation of different objects and the evaluation of the image data is made easier.

Example Pharmaceutical business
The use of highly specialized and optimally adapted tools is extremely vital for the time-critical development and production of medicines. Our products can be adapted to special needs very easy and inexpensively.
So, there was, for instance, a specialized module for counting groups of cells developed on the basis of the arivis Browser. The aim was a very fast and exact calibration of a volumetric filling station. The application, however, had to be flexibly adapted to changes in the surroundings. A very easy application user interface and the use of existing technology were also part of the job.
arivis planned and implemented the functionality in a short time. Including extensive tests, it took only 3 months from the first contact to acceptance of the solution.
