arivis Browser
The arivis Browser is standard software supporting complex workflows using multichannel 2D, 3D and 4D images in microscopy, regardless of image size and source.
The arivis Browser ensures a visualization of data and thus its examination in real time and without data loss. That makes it reliable software for researchers in life science and cell biology as well as in histology, pathology, anatomy and many more domains.
Being highly efficient and adaptive image processing and analysis software, the arivis Browser professionally supports the user in various steps of his work, from acquiring image data from image acquisition devices up to the final presentation of an experiment.
Our data format was specially developed for the intelligent handling of image data up to 500 Gbytes, an image resolution from 231 pixel x 231 pixel, and a spatial representation up to five dimensions (x,y,z,t, spectral channels).
The wide range of highly efficient visualization techniques, a comprehensive color management system, channel based operations, high-quality 3D and 4D rendering and a powerful analysis tool make the arivis Browser standard software for large size image processes that meets the particular requirements of biomedical research.
Fields of application
- 4D-visualization physiological processes throughout long-term experiments with biological life cell samples (cell, tissue and embryo cultures)
- real time observance of growth processes in cells or cell groups and presentation as a movie
- object tracking and analysis of cell movements to study the elimination of pathogenic cells
Cell Biology/ Pharmacology/Neurobiology
- FRET: real time measurement of protein-protein interaction
- FRAP: time-resolved measurement of local fluorescence intensities
- RATIO: ratiometric over-time measurement and visualization of ion concentration in living cells
- confocal imaging: 3D visualization and analysis of subcellular structures and Ca²-signalling
- visualization of the developement and motion analysis of the growth of neurons and neuronal connections
- solution for visualization, object detection, and analysis of pathological and histopathological frame shots from a microscope or digital scanner
- Image Fusion and 3D-visualization of the morphology of HREM-data (High Resolution Episcopic Microscopy)
Application specific adaptability
The modular architecture of our software provides the user with a high functionality by means of available plug-ins and modules.
When performing challenging tasks, the arivis Browser is adjusted to the application (or extended) by plug-ins, workflows or scripts.
In a quick and efficient way it is thus possible to implement, for instance, new import or export formats, to select existing gadgets, to evaluate particular algorithms for analysis or to adapt individual visualization techniques.
As we are a fair partner of scientists, we provide our extensive, thought-through, proved, and steadily advanced API freely for any user (plug-in SDK).
