arivis presents results of MARIKA -a joint research project

On september 15th arivis participated in the interim presentation of the state joint research effort "mobile assistance systems" . In the MARIKA project arivis - as an industry partner - collaborates closely with the University of Rostock and the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research, Rostock and successfully presented new components for the arivis Platform.
In addition to integrating the arivis Grid as an interface to complex sensor networks and distributed analysis we also presented our approach for including video into complex analysis processes.
At the project end the arivis Platform together with the new components will form a unique solution to analyze emotion and behaviour of individuals based on physiological data, activity sensors and a number of video sources.
