Integration and adjustment of arivis-products

With all our products, we put strong emphasis on easy integration into the projects and products of our customers. Partly, this integration is their main purpose in use. The examples given on this page can only give a general overview about the adaptability of our products.

Example Integration of the arivis ImageCore

The idea behind the arivis ImageCore library is the provision of a performance image data administration for the most different fields of use. When developing this library, we put special emphasis on the simple integration into existing systems. This concerns both the simple and logical design of the interface and a detailed documentation with examples.

However, the successful integration of a different library, especially for fundamental functions like memory management, is a complex challenge. arivis helps to deal with these tasks by providing comprehensive technical support. If wished, our specialists even support you on-the-spot.

Example Module-development for the arivis Browser

From the beginning, the arivis Browser has been planned and implemented as a modular and expandable software system. Thus, it is very easy, to extend the basic version by any special module. This concerns modules for the analysis of existing image data as well as specialized import modules or modules for integrating devices for image acquisition. An extension of the arivis Browser can be carried out by arivis within the framework of a project. Because of the open module interfaces, however, extensions of the arivis Browser can also be carried out by the users themselves.

Special extension modules developed by arivis so far are for instance:

• Special segmentation and classification modules
• Drivers for special high-speed cameras
• Import filter for complex image data

Since it is based on the flexible Eclipse framework, the arivis Platform is in some measure innately an easily expandable system. Besides writing new components for pipelines, the extensibility of the arivis Platform covers even parts of the user interface. That means, for instance, that special editors can be easily plugged into the system. As for the arivis Browser, these extensions can be implemented by arivis or by the user himself using the special developer version of the product.

Example Adaptation of the arivis Viewer

The arivis Viewer is our product for a simple navigation within large image data. When using the arivis Viewer in a project, the layout of the application can be largely adapted. When working on marketing projects, for instance, an adaptation of the arivis Viewer to the corporate design of the project partner can be achieved by changing the layout (colors, logos, etc.)
