arivis at 3rd graduate forum of PG Morphologie at University of Vienna

From October 21-24, 2010, the Fachgruppe Morphologie of the DZG is inviting to the 3rd graduate forum at the University of Vienna. Covering the subject „Creation, Analysis and Visualization of morphological data sets“, numerous renowned scientists will hold talks and poster sessions in front of the graduates. Among these scientists are, for example, Prof. Wolfgang Weninger (Center for Anatomy and Cell Biology, University of Vienna) , Dr. Bernhard Ruthensteiner (Zoological State Collection, Munich) and Prof. Dieter Waloszek (Biosystematic Documentation, UULM).

This year's graduate forum is organized in cooperation with the Zoological-Botanical Society in Austria (Zoobot).

At the 3rd graduate forum, arivis will be present with its own stand and hold a talk on the possibilities of the visualization and 3D volume rendering of very large image data which is now also possible on the web.
