arivis Webview

arivis WebView is the solution for visualizing and annotating large image data via the intranet and internet. Similar to the desktop software system arivis browser, arivis WebView is based on the innovative arivis ImageCore and allows the quick and easy publication of your image data.

Fields of application

Based on the arivis WebView we implemented different solutions for our customers, e.g.

• for the marketing of tourism organizations in the presentation and processing of panoramic photos of any size and highest resolution of the DLR
  (in cooperation with Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt)

• Development and implementation of an e-learning platform for a contemporary university teaching in the field of pathology at 5 universities
  (in cooperation with Net-Base e.K.)

• a complex web portal in the field of time-based visualization of various meteorological data geographically with topographic data content associated
  (for WetterOnline GmbH )

Using open standards

The whole client functionality is implemented without any proprietary software products (e.g. Adobe Flash). The communication between the server and client as well as the implementation of the server are based on open standards like XML and Javascript.

Flexibility

The arivis WebView provides a highly modular server and client implementation. Hence, it can be easily extended as well as adapted to your specific scenarios. Based on the arivis WebView, a variety of solutions has been developed so far, e.g. for the management of panorama images, a training system for histopathology, or more complex applications such as the time-based visualization of weather phenomena.

Integration into the workflow

arivis WebView utilizes the data format common to all arivis ImageCore software systems. Thus, arivis WebView can easily be integrated into existing workflows. For instance, without any extensive conversion or preparation, data sets created and modified by the arivis Browser can be published on the web. You can work with your image data by using arivis WebView or arivis Browser; changes like new annotations will be visualized simultaneously.

Efficient ways to annotate

Using arivis WebView, you can create several annotations which may then be filtered and treated according to different criteria. For special requirements, you can easily add new visualization and annotation functions.
