Here you find the overview of arivis Browser Release notes with information about prior released features:

new features und functionalities:

  • new: Analysis Pipeline - segmentation of 3D objects
  • new: Analysis Pipeline - possibility to track 4D objects
  • new: interpolated display of zoomed images (Interpolation methods: Bilinear, Bicubic,Lanczos)
  • new: ellipse annotations are supported by FRET, Ratio and Simple Dynamics
  • new: Info Viewer: ability to add/remove scopes, frames, planes
  • new: import a file as a new scope into an existing data set (in the Info Viewer)
  • new: completely new Metadata Editor (as part of the new Info Viewer)
  • new: hide/show labels in Gallery Viewer
  • new: show compression state in Info Palette
  • new: channel based rendering for 4D Viewer
  • new: Storyboard and Movie export in 4D Viewer

Improvements and optimizations:

  • view type switch UI is now in the Settings Bar at the bottom
  • split view feature reworked, split functionality is build in for every viewer window
  • scrolling support for the Settings Bar
  • link the current state of all viewers in a split window
  • reading and writing of image data is much faster now. e.g., this affects import, acquisition and analysis
  • default palette set will remember the palettes order or position
  • filter possibilities (especially for 16Bit data)
  • User Interface of the 3D- and 4D-Viewer

Changes:

  • *.anno and *.smd-files no longer exist. Both were replaced by a single *.metadata file.
  • Settings Bar area will be shared by all viewers in a split window
  • menu, toolbar and settings will be adjusted to the currently active viewer in a split window
