Am 17.Februar 2011 strahlt das Deutschlandradio in seinem Radiofeuilleton "Elekronische Welten" einen Beitrag zum Thema" DNA-Analyse für die Hausapotheke" aus. In einem Interview mit Lars Krüger, Koordinator der Nordic Diagnostic Alliance (Universität Rostock, Universitätsklinikum Rostock, arivis GmbH, Gensoric GmbH, immungenetics GmbH) wird die Vision, tragbare Analysegeräte für DNA-Schnelltests zu entwickeln, vorgestellt.

In the context of the Exzellenzinitiative Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, arivis and the Neurodegeneration Research Lab (NRL) of Prof. Jens Pahnke at the University of Rostock receive a research funding. The funded projects aims at developing a platform for the 3D quantification of tissue structures in digital microscopy using high solution (230 nm) slide scans. In order to establish evaluation routines for the 3D quantification, the NRL creates digital slice series of mice brains in full resolution.

In october 2009, the TSB Medici has published an article about arivis in one of their regularly appearing newsletters. Besides a portrait of our company, the article highlighted the importance of the arivis browser in up to 4-dimensional data management processes in medical science.

arivis is the winner of the second round of IT-Futurefonds Mecklenburg-Vorpommern“. Our concept „Development of a platform strategy“ asserted itself in the final of the competition against 7 other companies of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
