New Releases: arivis Browser 2.8 & arivis Vision 4D 1.1 available
New Releases of arivis Browser & arivis Vision 4D:
We are proud to announce the availability of new and improved versions of arivis Browser 2.8 and arivis Vision 4D 1.1.
arivis WebView 3.0 with 3D-Rendering in Web Browsers
With arivis WebView 3D, we complemented the previously available 2D-rendering of arivis WebView by a third dimension. Using the new WebGL technology, we can render interactive 3D data fast and at high quality in a standard web browser. Since this is a standard compliant solution, the 3D technology can be implemented in any web applications and interact with already existing systems. Therewith, a variety of user scenarios arise for training courses, project work or for the presentation of large image data.

arivis shares arivis ImageCore data format & library
arivis has decided to open the structure and description of the arivis ImageCore data format to interested users. This technology, which has been developed and refined since 1997 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics (IGD), uses a redundancy free storage technique that allows random access to arbitrary image regions at any zoom and constant time.
New Release: 64-bit architecture for arivis products available
NEW: 64-bit architecture to take advantage of more than 2GB of RAM! No longer restricted to the 2GB limit of 32-bit applications, the new Releases of arivis Browser and arivis Vision 4D use all the RAM in your system to handle larger time series faster. You can now experience a much more detailed 3D visualization while maintaining the live playback capabilities of your time series.
