New release: arivis Browser 2.8 & arivis Vision 4D 1.1

We are very pleased to announce that an improved version of arivis Browser and arivis Vision 4D is available as for now.

The improvements of the arivis Browser include the completely revised Analysis Pipeline for filtering and quantitative data analysis. For both the arivis Browser and arivis Vision 4D, the plugin for an extended focus and a new measure box are available in the 4D Viewer.

Analysis Pipeline (revised)

For several years by now, the Analysis Pipeline has been a reliable click & play solution for filtering, segmentation and advanced analysis of 2D and 3D image data. Easy to use, this tool will also be available in the future in order to support the user in very complex and challenging microscopical applications.

New report for analysis results

For this release, conceptional basics of the analysis as well as the functionality for handling the analysis have been revised and improved. The Pipeline Control bar, the Operator Gallery, the Redo/Undo handling and the new Analysis Report Viewer are part of our easy-to-use concept, which has partly been implemented in the release 2.8.

Extended Focus

This function is useful if the depth of focus of the microscope fails to create a sharp image of an uneven sample, making it necessary to take several images while fokussing through foreground and background.

Capturing details from the focus levels by extended focus

The Extended Focus plugin works in the following way: It captures the sharp regions of each focus level and aligns them to a single sharp image. By creating annotations (rectangle), you can determine regions of interest, which already contain the sharp details of the focus position in single images, and which can be combined to one single, depth-sharp image using the plugin.

Measure Box in 4D Viewer

The Measure Box is a new feature of arivis Browser and arivis Vision 4D available in the 4D viewer. By displaying the relation between the x-, y- and z-dimension of your data, it helps you to locate your image in a three-dimensional space.
